Imagine if the greatest goal sneak in AFL history, Eddie Betts, was hired not for leadership coaching by the Geelong Cats, but to teach the forwards how to win 'goal of the year.' In our comedy skit, Goal of the Year Coach, we take a behind-the-scenes look at Geelong's training as Eddie puts Tom Hawkins and co through their paces. The skit was written and directed for the Fox Footy program I produce, Best On Ground and was watched by over 200k fans on the Cats socials. As a nuffy Cats fan myself, this shoot was unreal. And best believe I asked/forced Hawkins take a photo with me afterwards.
